The cat burglar they call the Smoke comes across an arrogant bully on the streets of New York. The guy’s a jerk, so he picks his pocket. But inside that billfold he discovers a couple of mysteries: an odd blueprint and a membership card to a secret society.

Curious, the Smoke investigates, and things turn deadly. He’s stumbled onto a terrorist plot. Before he knows it, the Smoke becomes embroiled in a web of deception and murder. And when the cops and FBI get involved, he becomes their prime suspect in the plot.
